Types of Woodworking Plans That Are in The Public Domain

These days, with the internet, literally all types of Woodworking Plans are available at your
fingertips. Do you want to make a beautiful wooden toy that will be cherished and passed
down through the generations? Or a bureau that will stand solid and proud for many years?
How about a bookcase? Or a bedframe? All these woodworking plans, and more are available in the public domain,
if you know where to look.
For hundreds of years woodworkers have drawn up their woodworking plans, and so many of those
are available in the public domain. There is literally no end to the different types and styles
of plans you can find. Many people tell us they get better plans in the public domain than they
get when they actually spend money to buy plans!
After all, a woodworking plan that is in the public domain is likely to be one that has stood
the test of time, and has been reprinted and republished many times over the decades. So, just
because something is free, that doesn't mean it's of inferior quality. Often, the complete opposite
is true!
